Power for the active components is supplied via the RF cable. The OMNI-A0113 is a passive dipole antenna designed for mounting on vehicles. The wideband design makes it suitable for spectrum monitoring.

LF, MF, HF, VHF MONITORING MONOPOLE ANTENNAS

LF_MF_HF_VHF_MONITORING.pngThese active whip monopole antennas are designed for mounting on vehicles and other metallic structures with a ground plane. They can also be used for fixed applications where there is no ground plane by using included ground radials or wires that screw into the base. Radiation pattern is suitable for medium to long range HF monitoring. Active amplification allows these antennas to operate over a wide HF frequency range of 9 kHz - 30 MHz or 100 kHz to 60 MHz.
