In our increasingly interconnected world, the accuracy and integrity of GNSS signals is paramount. GNSS receivers, numbering in the billions globally, are integral to myriad sectors, yet remain vulnerable to RF interference like jamming and spoofing. This poses threats to critical national infrastructure.
Cyntony supplier GPSPATRON specializes in high-precision GNSS interference detection, classification and protection solutions that support defense, law enforcement, and critical infrastructure.
The over all architecture is a distributed system for GNSS signal quality monitoring and protecting time-critical and coordinates-critical infrastructure against GNSS threats of low-latency spoofing, jamming and interference. The system consists of three-channel GNSS probes (GP-Probe TGE2) and/or one channel probes (GP-Probe DIN L1) plus a GP-Cloud software running on a private network or accessible over the internet to subscribers. Capabilities include:
GPSPATRON HQ is located in Warsaw, Poland, so they have a front-row seat to the nefarious actions of bad actors in the region. In partnership with the Gdnyia Maritime University, a five month study of GNSS interference in the Baltic Sea was conducted in the Baltic Sea. During this period, 84 hours of interruption were observed, the majority attributed to jamming rather than spoofing, consisting of multi-constellation jamming and multi-tone interference. Some interference events led to significant positioning errors, degrading accuracy from 3–5 meters to over 35 meters—posing a serious risk to navigation, port operations, and critical infrastructure. Interestingly, none of the GNSS disturbances during these five months were detected as ADS-B positioning anomalies. To read the detailed 55-page report, click BALTIC SEA GNSS INTERFERENCE.

Operates in tandem with GP-Cloud, this sophisticated instrument safeguards critical
infrastructure from GNSS disruptions using a high-performance three-channel GNSS probe with a built-in RF signal analyzer. It detects, classifies and localizes GNSS spoofing and jamming and can protect infrastructure from PPS time base degradation.
Provides GNSS interference detection and classification, PPS accuracy monitoring,
GNSS signal quality analysis, and logging. The device is easily installed between a GNSS antenna and a receiver or time server.
When an event is detected, the GNSS and PPS outputs are immediately disabled, preventing counterfeit signals from reaching your system.
GP Probe Nano L1 is a highly compact portable GNSS jamming detector engineered for identification and logging of interference within the GPS L1 band. Utilizing advanced power measurement techniques with huge dynamic range, the device continuously monitors interference power, and alerts users to potential jamming threats.
