SKARAB OVERVIEW

The heart of SKARAB is the XILINX Virtex 7 FPGA model XC7VX690T, one of the largest of the family of production FPGAs on the market.

Four custom mezzanine connector sites allow scores of high speed IO channels to the FPGA for such things like SERDES, GbE and HMC interfaces.

Embedded monitoring and control of power and temperature management plus the ability to reconfigure the FPGA in less than a second.
