The AD-64/B by Trival Antene is an ultra wideband manpack antenna designed for modern broadband software-defined radios (SDR). Featuring a center-fed sleeve dipole design, it operates efficiently without requiring a ground plane and includes a flexible gooseneck for rugged military use.
Designed for tactical communication, the AD-64/B supports broadband SDR applications in harsh military environments. Its flexible gooseneck and ground-plane independence make it suitable for manpack deployments where versatile positioning is required.
The radiating element is fully enclosed in a rugged fiberglass radome built to protect against external elements. The durable construction is specifically intended to withstand the rigors of harsh military field environments.
This antenna provides continuous coverage across the upper VHF and lower UHF bands from 225 to 1000 MHz. It handles up to 50 W CW of maximum power and maintains a typical VSWR of under 3:1 with a 50-ohm impedance.
The inclusion of a flexible gooseneck allows the antenna to be bent into almost any position. The center-fed sleeve dipole design ensures efficient operation without the need to establish a ground plane on the mounting platform.
Intended for use with modern broadband software-defined radios (SDR). Connections are made via a standard N male connector.
